Mathare Children’s Fund Panairobi (MCFP) is a non-profit organization that is about children rights. We champion the rights and interests of children putting the most vulnerable ones first. We recognize that Children’s rights cover their developmental and age-appropriate needs that change over time as they grow up.
Education is a fundamental factor of production, it raises peoples productivity, creativity and promotes entrepreneurship. These are all key factors to breaking the poverty cycle and developing communities which is why we have put so much focus onto mentoring, training and providing opportunities to young, passionate and aspiring individuals who wouldn’t otherwise have access to these resources.
MCFP work to support such children to access education and vocational training to reduce their vulnerability and provide future hope. We promote children’s rights through access to health, education, family life, play, recreation and protecting them from abuse and harm.
