There have been over 600 children who have passed through the sponsorship programme since 1999 when the project was established. Currently, there are 100 children under the School Sponsorship Programme - at all levels of education, from Nurseries/kindergarten to University/college/vocational training; placed in over 70 schools {and institutions of higher learning} in the country.

The organization’s primary target group comprises children affected by high level of vulnerability - both boys and girls; with the target areas being primarily Mathare, Kariobangi, Korogocho and Huruma informal settlements/slums who have undergone rehabilitation processes in different rehab projects based within these settlements.

 

Holiday Programs

As the name suggests, these are activities carried out over the School holidays and it provides an opportunity to actively engage students in other work alongside their studies. These include participation in community clean-up exercises; sessions of Children's Parliament; Educational trips; participation in sports for social impact activities, tutoring, mentorship and children's workshops for skills development and t address various issues facing them among others.
