Yesterday we were invited to celebrate the "Women's World Prayer Day" together with the German Church community in Nairobi.  As part of the overall theme " What is actually fair?" MCFpanairobi had the chance to present its causes during their Sunday service.  Leah one of our former teenage mothers gave a fantastic talk on her life experience and how she was able to grow and find employment with MCFpanairobi's Teenage Mothers economic empowerment program. 

MCFpanairobi was selected to receive the day's service collection and some bags of rice that were donated by worshipers. A big thank you to the German Church community for this generous donation!! This will help us to reach out and empower more teenage mothers in Mathare slum and keep our children's stomachs full for a while.
